Yesterday, New Year's Eve, in obedience to God, I created the Happy New Year postcard you see above.  I posted it to Facebook and here on the website.  My website still had the 2025 theme God provided for the ministry - our year of Power through Prayer and Preparation.  I knew to take it down but asked God, what am I to put in its place - what's the theme for 2026, God?  I heard nothing clearly so continued with the other edits/additions needed for the site and went on to church.  The message I preached at church (Cliftondale UMC) was "Ready, Set, Go!".  My pastor preached on how we must prepare to run this 2026 race.  She emphasized how we must shed every sin and weight that is holding us back as weights can be heavy and prevent us from moving with Him.  She also reminded us that all weights are not sin - they can be good things and stuff but they are still weighing us down and holding us back.  When you are running a race, (you do know this is a race we are running, right?) you have to free yourself from all the distractions.  You must rid yourselves of the baggage that can easily weigh you down and hold you back.  This is the only way to run well and finish strong.

 

This morning, New Year's Day, during the Forty Days of Fire, an assignment from Heaven that comes through the Jael Women's Network of which I have been assigned, Prophetess preached on 2026 being the year that we will not have to fight our own battles.  God spoke through her and she prophesied over us, that He will be fighting all of our battles for us this year.  The enemies we had to fight and confront last year will have to contend with God Himself in 2026.  However, this promise is only true if we are obedient in the Godly things He has assigned for us to do and we put Him first - above our jobs, above our families, above our ministry - above everything as we walk out Matthew 6:33, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

By the time I dialed into the D'Vine Connections 5AM prayer call on the PST (which is 8 AM EST), God had given me the 2026 theme for D'Vine Connections Ministry, 2026 Our Year of Victory!  Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.  I knew this was the theme because God allowed me to speak a prophetic word of encouragement and confirmation over every sister that was on the line with me.  He had me share the scripture above and declare and degree that we would see the manifestation of this revelation if we remain faithful and more importantly, obedient.  Obedient to the Word of God, obedient to the Voice of God and obedient in the Will of God for our lives.  We cannot get distracted, by our jobs, our families, our enemies, our health, our finances as God will take care of all of that on our behalf in 2026.  We must obey the Word and do what it says and move on with God.

As we walk into our Victory in 2026, meditate on God's word found in 2 Chronicles 20:15.  Read it below from The Message Bible:

 "....Attention everyone—all of you from out of town, all you from Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat—God’s word: Don’t be afraid; don’t pay any mind to this vandal horde. This is God’s war, not yours. Tomorrow you’ll go after them; see, they’re already on their way up the slopes of Ziz; you’ll meet them at the end of the ravine near the wilderness of Jeruel. You won’t have to lift a hand in this battle; just stand firm, Judah and Jerusalem, and watch God’s saving work for you take shape. Don’t be afraid, don’t waver. March out boldly tomorrow—God is with you.”

Now read it again and remember, for the last time, all those you had to battle with in 2025.  Think about and get some specifics in mind and then read that scripture again.........that's what God has promised to do for you in 2026!
